For the Montessori Open House infographics project, I began by understanding the objectives and audience requirements. I conducted research on Montessori activities and gathered design inspiration. Next, I sketched initial concepts and planned the infographic layout. Using Canva, I created the infographics, ensuring they were engaging and informative. After completing the designs, I reviewed them, incorporated feedback from my lead teacher, and made necessary refinements. Finally, I polished the infographics for presentation and delivered them for the open house, collecting feedback to assess their impact.
The infographics led to improved engagement and understanding among parents. During the open house, parents successfully completed the Montessori activities with their children, demonstrating better awareness of the materials and how they are presented in the classroom. This helped parents better understand the Montessori method and its application, resulting in more confidence in supporting their children’s learning at home.
